Account & Data Deletion

Applies to Calçada (app.calcada on Google Play) and the Calçada web app.

Delete your account in the app

You can permanently delete your Calçada account yourself, from inside the app:

  • Open Calçada and sign in.
  • Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
  • Type your username to confirm.

Deletion is immediate and permanent. It cannot be undone.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

  • your account and the email address used to sign in;
  • your profile — username, display name, and stats;
  • your friends list and any friend requests, sent or received;
  • your seat in any lobby or match in progress, and any queue entries.

What is kept

Records of finished games are kept, but detached from your account: the link between the game record and you is removed, and what remains is the name you played under at the time, visible only to the people you played against in their own match history. These retained records can no longer be connected to you.

Nothing else is retained — Calçada collects no analytics, advertising, or tracking data in the first place (see the Privacy Policy).

No longer have the app?

You can request deletion without reinstalling: email hi@calcada.app from the email address you used to sign in, with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify the request and delete the account, and confirm by reply once it is done.

Questions

The Privacy Policy (in the app under Settings → About → Privacy Policy, or at calcada.app/about/privacy) explains everything Calçada collects and why. For anything else, contact hi@calcada.app.
